Capgemini Kickoff

Each year the Capgemini group organises several events to kickoff the year. During these events new plans and goals for the forthcoming year are presented. For the Global Capgemini Kickoff in Noordwijk I have created an animated illustration. A few rules I had the work with:
– The concept created by Capgemini “Pearls by the sea”
– The dimensions of the LED screen 9 meters wide x 3 meters in length.

Inspired by the concept, location and Capgemini as an IT company. I went for the look & feel of a treasure hunt video game. I illustrated a map of the world that shows where all the group’s offices are located. Each office containing its own pearls (that represent all the employees). The clam collects all the pearls on the map and by doing so he encounters some of the inhabitants in that region. Music is made by Lex Joosten.
